I hope you don't need a ps+ active account to keep the game. If you do then How would this be any different than the DRM MS wanted to implement which everyone including Sony criticized so much. The guys at Sony should clarify this ASAP
With rumors of Amazon and Google entering the console race, I can see MS doing a spin off. I dont know but where there is smoke there is fire. This isn't good news specially after all the positive vibes coming from Phil side of the camp.

its not that it doesn't have the power, its too early in its cycle, with better tools dev will be able to hit 1080p/60fps.

Huh? Are you still living in the past? There are a good amount of new IPs coming for the bone. If you dont like it thats ok, but you need to move forward. Sony also will have sequels, if rumors are true UC4 will be the big game for Sony this year, but i doubt you have a problem with it although is number 4.
I dont think there is room for so many consoles two or three max, with amazon also rumored to be working on a console that would make it what 6.

Think about it in relation to music. Same thing happened to cds people where very skeptical at first, now nobody remembers cds. Same thing will happen with video games, in the future we wont need consoles to play them just online/cloud sercices.
